Scheduled Postings

WordPress, the host for this blog, recently set up a method of scheduling a post anytime in the future, a feature that I already use routinely. I publish every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as these days begin, which means soon after midnight, EST, (except I cheat a little on Monday’s posting, publishing Sunday evening). The new scheduling procedure means I can set them up in the afternoon, and actually post them a little after midnight when I am fast asleep. You can then read them that morning however early you get up. So far, I have been scheduling almost every post and have had no glitches.

I have a long backlog of postings ready to go. If I have a few lucid moments before I die, I will schedule all of them well into the future, which means you may someday be reading a post from the grave.

Perhaps I have already passed. How would you know? (Only joking. I’m fine.)

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
