One article I read not too long ago that I regret not documenting in a blog posting, was about snack foods. It said that a successful snack food should fill your mouth with flavor, then quickly disappear so you will take another bite, or handful, or sip, whatever form it comes in. Potato chips are noted for that and is the reason we cannot eat just one.
My two favorite snack foods are M&Ms and Cheetos Puffs, both of which, I now realize, have that characteristic. Good & Plentys, Licorice Twizzlers, and Circus Peanuts are also up there on my favorites list. My favorites list is long, too long to be called “favorites.”
It includes almost anything sweet or salty, and no one is older than me to tell me I can’t have them.
