Redskins Solution

RedskinsA letter writer to our local newspaper, John Hannagan, had an ingenious idea to solve the controversy of “Redskins” as a nickname for sports teams (a local high school team in Delaware is called “the Redskins”): Keep the name, but replace the image of a Native American with a potato.  Maybe keep the feathers. A Google search showed the idea is not new, but it is still a good one and is new to me, I kid you not.
