LAHS School Board

There has been some interest in the old posting of 6/25/2005 on our school board.  That was posted on the Microsoft website who has since gotten out of web hosting.  They transferred all of the postings to the current WordPress site, but with some formatting glitches.  So, I am updating it here, deleting the reference to an Inquirer article that is no longer available, and adding the photo from our LAHIAN yearbook.  The parents in the photo were much younger than we are now, impossible as it seems.

Looking over our Lahian recently, I was amazed.  For the first time, I actually looked at the picture of the school board.  Did you know how many of our classmates parents were on the board?  We all knew Mary Kay Abbot’s father, but there is also Norm Rowley’s mother, Beth Mellott’s father, Ed Henrie’s father and Joan Maher’s father.  That has to be a school record for the most representation by one class.  (Click on the photo to enlarge.)

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
