Politically Correct Penn State

The Penn State fight song, officially titled “The Nittany Lion,” has the line in the chorus,

Penn State forever,
Molder of men!

In my day, the ratio of men students to women was 3 to 1, and we sang it, with some bitterness,

Moldy with men!

I was curious to find what happened to this politically incorrect line over the years, especially in light of the recent scandal.  According to the Internet, for many of those years it was sung traditionally, but the coeds immediately chimed in with,

And women!

while the men tried to drown them out with,

Just men!

More recently, I understand, the fun has been removed and it is now simply,

Molder of all.
