Happy New Year

At the stroke of midnight tonight most of us will yell “Happy New Year!” to someone  (except for me, who will be in the shower).  Wishing someone a happy New Year may not have any practical effect on their well-being, but it certainly gets the wisher’s life off to a good start.  Beginning each year by expressing the desire that someone else does well, even if it is the next morning for those who go to bed early, has to be beneficial.

I will try to think positively of you as I step out, clean and naked, into 2012  (see 1/1/2006 posting).  Think kindly of me when you wake up tomorrow.  It will do you good.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
