Oh, Wow

It has been widely reported, but bears repeating.   Steve Jobs died in bed surrounded by loved ones.  Just before he died, he looked past his visitors and quietly said, “OH, WOW!  OH, WOW!  OH, WOW!”  Those were his last words that may be the best gift he gave us.

An old Arabic saying is, “When the angel of death approaches, he is terrifying. When he arrives, he is bliss.”

I hope bliss is the universal experience of everyone at the transition of death, even though they may not be able to express it.  The evidence seems to support it.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
