Graduation

While at Longwood Gardens recently, I watched a group of well-dressed college girls being photographed by their parents.  When talking with them later I mentioned they were obviously having a graduation celebration, but from where?

“The University of Delaware.”

“Well, congratulations.  You all look terrific.”

“Thank you.”

“But the bad news is this is the best you will ever look.  It’s going to be downhill from now on.”

“That’s depressing!”

“Not really.  The good news is that you won’t care so much anymore.  How your children look will be more important.”

The parents laughed.
