Bad Drivers

After the posting on the blue-haired ladies (3/14/2011), people have been sending me stories and photos from the Internet of other bad drivers.  But I think I can top them all.

When my wife and I were first married, we lived in Philadelphia near 40th and Baltimore Avenue where the trolleys from the suburbs still go underground on their way to center city.  During that time, there was a story in the paper of a very mixed up farmer who drove his pickup truck of vegetables into the entrance thinking it was an underground roadway.  He got as far as the 37th Street Station when he realized something was very wrong and stopped.  He said he was surprised how bumpy it was and the overhead blue sparks scared him.

I wonder what the waiting passengers at that 37th Street Station thought when a vegetable truck pulled in.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
