The mini-reunion will be the first Thursday in June (June
3rd this year) in front of the Ocean City Music Pier between Eighth and Ninth
Streets on the Boardwalk at 2 pm, rain or shine.
(Chip, chip, chip. It is now set in stone.)
Jerry Jerome was hoping for a weekday with some significance. All I could come up with is "Thursday’s child has far to go," and I hope we all still have far to go.
Last year several of us stayed at the Tahiti Inn as a reasonable compromise
between cost, convenience, and quality. Jerry Jerome has gotten several
brochures from other places, so we may try something else, but the Tahiti worked
out well. (See last year’s posting for June 13).
Any new face is welcome however tenuous the connection with our class. Nancy
Musser has gone through the last of sixty boxes of memorabilia, so this
year should be the last of her treasures, as hard as it is to believe.
Dan, we hope you can make it, but we appreciate Dee’s work schedule. We all wanted to avoid the weekend crowd.
