Cheering Them On

Cheer again for Lansdowne High,
Cheer till the ball goes over.
Cheer them as they hit that line,
The fighting Lords of Lansdowne High.

Cheer again!
Tell them we’re always proud of them.
Cheer again!  Cheer again!
They’ll never give up till they score.
GO!

Sung to the tune of “The Notre Dame Victory March.”

(From the football program Lansdowne vs. Darby, Friday, October 3, 1952, 8:00 PM.  Cheerleaders were:  Marian Bell, Betty Buckley, Carol Shepp, Dotty Williams, Barbara Winne, Joan Barnes, Nancy Chalk, Dotty Summy.  Carol Baxter and Gerry Rogers, Captains.)
