Ocean City Web Cam

The web site sunsetcam.com shows real-time views of the Ocean City boardwalk. Don’t ask me why they name it “Sunset,” because, being on the east coast, it shows the sun rise.  When you go there, click on “Ocean City”  and you will have about nine views on two pages.  Only two or three are currently running, as I would expect off-season, and which ones are on seem to change from week to week.   If a view says “Loading…” move on because it never will.  It works well with my broadband connection, but I would think you would still get something with a dial-up.

The exciting thing is that one camera points on the front of the Music Pier, directly where we meet for our mini-reunions. Perhaps next June 11 we could all line up with an LAHS banner and wave to you who could not be there.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
