Missing Classmates

I am publishing the names of missing classmates in the hopes, someday, someone will do a Google search on one of them, and when this blog pops up they will let me know whatever happened to them. This list does not include people who surprisingly expressed a desire to remain anonymous.

Missing classmates from Lansdowne-Aldan High School, Class of 1954, are:

Wanda Anderson, Edith Baranyai, Judy Bates, Ruth Beverly, Bruce Bishop, Ed Bishop, Pat Brown, Pearl Byrd, Ted Carl, Bill Dougherty, Alma Fontana, Shirley Frith, Celine Geary, Gwen Gentile, Marilyn Hall, Bill Hayes, Jack King, Bill Krause, Janet Lane, Bob Martin, Pat Mason, Dolores McIntire, Betty Nawn, Peggy Nock, George Nopper, Sherry Ott, Marion Overcash, Joan Pheneger, Bill Rumberger, Ralph Russo, Ed Scott, Tom Sharkey, Dianne Singley, Duane Snyder, Katherine Tashjian, Ron Vinnacombe, Lynn Wheeler, Jean Williamson, Marcia Zamorsky

By an amazing coincidence, Jean Williamson’s parents were in the same retirement community as my parents in Boca Raton, Florida. She lived in the area and we all had dinner together several times over the years.  Now our parents are gone and I never got her address because I never thought our parents would die.  As of about fifteen years ago, she was healthy, happy, single, and thinking of retirement, but that’s all I know.

I have on one list all of our classmates, both those with and without addresses, and those known to be deceased.  Contact me if you would like a current copy.  It has Jimmy Herring’s address.  If you know of any others who moved on before graduation or were just friends of our classmates, let me know and I’ll add them, too.  I see no need to strictly limit it to graduates.

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
