Our Old High School

A classmate asked me who to contact at LAHS to express her appreciation for an excellent education.

I had to laugh. Our school is GONE.  Gone with the wind.

The building is still there, but the school district has changed, and the name is different.  No one there had even been born in 1954.  No one remembers us, or our teachers, or anyone we knew.

That’s why we should cherish our memories – it’s all that remains.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
