Someone asked who are the cheerleaders in the photo of August 4.  First row: Arnett Ware, Nancy Leith, Valerie Dressler, Judy Evans, Beth Mellott.  Second row:  Gail Bonner, Mary Kay Abbot, Joan Carberry.

I have Lahians for years 1951, 1952, 1953, and 1954 and a scanner.  If you would like to know anything from them I can send you scans of the relevant pages.

Judy Young suggested holding future reunions at the Lansdowne 20th Century Club where many of us took dance lessons from Mr. Keenon.  Slide-close-slide.  Slide-close-slide.  The problem would be where to stay, where to eat, would our spouses want to come.

A classmate asks,  “Who was Snook?”

Who was Snook!  That’s easy.  The answer is in the blog.  Here’s a test: Who was Sabu?  Mouse?  Sperm?  Cy?  Jelly?  Killer?  Buzz?  Wild Bill?  Brother Dave?  They’re just the ones I remember.  Anyone remember more? Did girls have nicknames, or was it just a guy thing?

Who were the two basketball players whose nicknames were in the expression, “W_ng shoots and P_ssy rebounds!” (Not in our class.  What are the missing letters, missing to avoid spam blockers?)

Anyone have leads on the whereabouts of classmates Bruce and Ed Bishop?  If We can find one, we can find the other.

About Roger Walck

My reasons for writing this blog are spelled out in the posting of 10/1/2012, Montaigne's Essays. They are probably not what you think.
