Arnett Ware

Ta Da!  I have tracked down Arnett Ware and have actually spoken to her!  The U of Penn alumni office (refer to the blog of July 19)  would not give me her address, but would foreword a letter to her.  I did this, but still did not hear from her.  On a hunch, I remembered she always vacationed with relatives in Maryland, so I searched the white pages online for that town, and there was a phone listing for A W Custer.  I gave it a try, and she answered, simple as that.  What luck!

Turns out, she has a computer but doesn’t use e-mail, and, like most of us, throws out mail from her alumni association.  She is single with grown children and works from her home for a hospital transcribing medical records.

Dan, she was just thinking about you the other day.  Nancy, she remembers tea parties at you house.  Marie, she remembers you as her neighbor.

If any of you would like her address, e-mail me for it (I do not want to publish it here).

I”m kind of proud of this, if I do say so myself.
